Hi, and thanks for checking out my violin lesson page. My name is Deanna, and I am passionate about teaching children to play the violin.

With a Masters degree in Music Performance (University of Minnesota), an undergrad in Music Education (Bob Jones), and a childhood being raised by two music teachers, I am certainly no stranger to the art of teaching music.

I used to teach orchestra at CVU High School and Essex Middle School until I decided to take a few years to stay at home and focus raising and teaching children closer to home. I am ending this hiatus as I am now to the point where I am ready to get back into teaching music part-time.

Spots will be limited, but I hope to continue to open up the schedule as it becomes possible for me to do so.

I teach the Suzuki method with attention also given to reading music.

All lessons will be taught out of my home in Essex Junction, Vermont.
